We had a wonderful reception meeting people who stopped by our Oregon State Fair booth. One lady was so delighted by our patriotic display that she took off her U.S. flag pin and gave it to us. She said she loved our patriotic efforts and “this flag belongs to you”.
The very kind lady is a local Red Cross volunteer. Her volunteerism reflects how America rates highly for the number of hours its citizens spend in community service.
